We are the publishers of the 999Network, a vast Internet property of niche 'micro content' websites. Our vision is to provide high quality and original content that is of interest to both individuals and businesses, across a vast array of individual subjects and locations, all within one unique Internet publishing network.

We currently have the requirement for a Senior PHP Developer to work as part of an expanding software development team in our Kingsbridge development centre.
Job Description
Primary Purpose

 
  • Assist in design and implementation of distributed web services.
  • Coding of database applications and components.
 
Skills and competencies

 
  • Good object oriented programming knowledge, PHP 5 as a basic requirement.
  • Software design principles including life cycle, version control and bug tracking.
  • Excellent relational database knowledge, MySQL experience an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, XSLT, CSS, Javascript.
  • At least some experience with basic Linux commands and services (apache, pop, smtp, ssh, etc).
 
Responsibilities

 
  • Be able to work as part of team as well as focus on individual projects.
  • Deal with non-technical staff.
 
Salary

 

Circa £27,500 - £32,500+ based on experience.
